Sexual contact becomes the medium for the Trichomonas vaginalis which cause Trichomoniasis infection. The infection mostly happens to women. However, male can be infected when they get sexual contact with infected women. The infection is able to be cured easier when the patients are young. The safe sex becomes the most effective way to prevent the infection of Tricnomoniasis. The safe sex will not be able to do by one of the partners. Both of the partners should have the same vision in healthy of their sex life. Using condom is one of the ways to prevent the infection. Condom is also able to prevent other STD to be transmitted and spread.

Other habit which can prevent to be infected by Trichomoniasis is not changing partner. Stick to one person will help them low the risk of the infection. Besides that, they also should faithful to each other then the virus does not have chance to infect. Limiting sex partners will help the virus not spread wide. But, it will be better if they become monogamous.

If one of the partners carries the virus which causes Trichomoniasis, they can limit the sex activity. It is better if they abstain in sex. It will help the other partner not being infected.
